The Faculty of Agriculture was the first Faculty of UDS, established in September 1993 with an in-take of 40 students at Nyankpala Campus. Currently, there are three (3) faculties and a school on Nyankpala Campus namely, Faculty of Agriculture (FOA), Faculty of Natural Resources and Environment (FNRE) and the Faculty of Agribusiness Communication Sciences (FACS) and School of Engineering (SOE). Currently, the Nyankpala Campus runs various Bachelors’, Masters’ Degree and PhD Programmes.
The training of agriculturalists and farmers as well as the introduction of improved agricultural practices require to be buttressed by pertinent research findings.
